Mathijs Vissers
My name is Mathijs Vissers, I'm a 27 year old artist from The Netherlands.
My work is mostly digital, but I'm working towards a more mixed media approach. I enjoy crazy over the top detailed compositions, lot's of wacky stuff going on.
But I also enjoy creating very eerie or creepy things. One of my best received work is the series of horror inspired portraits I did titled 'Floating Freaks'. Digital works, based on old public domain photographs. Inspired by old traveling freakshows, I created a series of surreal portraits featuring all sorts of terrifying things.
I also work as a freelance illustrator, creating festival artwork, decors, and all other sorts of cool stuff.
